Boat Trip on the River Rhine
The S33 takes rubber boat and hobby crew to Dachsen. The jetty at Dachsen-Nohl lends itself for the launching. Already after six kilometres the weir of the Rheinau power station appears. You will float past the magnificent Kloster Rheinau monastery and bob up and down through glorious landscapes of riverside meadows. The campsite on the Flaach elevation offers a place to stay overnight.
The next morning will offer you Grand Canyon impressions: the Irchel towers up to the left, the Buchberg to the right, whilst the Rhine has dug its riverbed right through the centre. You are going to drift past the Töss confluence alongside hillside vineyards towards Eglisau. The Rhine flows along docilely and takes the boats as far as Zurzach, where you can take a rest from paddling in the thermal springs.
