The Rhine Falls - Europe's largest waterfalls
The Rhine Falls, measuring 23 metres in height, are Europe's highest waterfalls. Every year they attract hundreds of thousends of people. Across a width of 150 metres, an average of 700m3 of water per second rush over the rocks. From Schlösschen Wörth and from Schloss Laufen motorboats take the visitors safely across the whirlpools to the central rock of the Rhine Falls. If you climb up, you will stand high above the roaring waterfall.
The tourism destination of Schloss Laufen has a new, attractive and contemporary infrastructure. The visitor centre with souvenir shop, snack bar, children's playground and exhibition offers you a great and unique experience. The adventure trail with double lift installation and the Belvedere trail facilitate an unobstructed access to the natural spectacle of the Rhine Falls. In addition, a new range of catering and events on offer awaits the visitors.
