Bäumli
The Bäumli is Winterthur's most popular vantage point. On the terrace above the hillside vineyards of the Goldenberg you can enjoy the view over the entire city and a fantastic view of the Alps.
You can reach the Bäumli via one of the marvellous walking trails or the city's longest steps measuring 425 metres. These start at Rychenbergstrasse, directly opposite the "Kantonsschule im Lee". Above idyllic vineyards, surrounded by magnificent trees, lies Winterthur's most popular vantage point. Here a breathtaking panorama presents itself: the nearby city and its surroundings, further afield the Säntis mountain and the Glarus Alps.
A little further along is the Restaurant Goldenberg. On beautiful summer days its terrace is bustling with people, whilst during winter you can enjoy the beautiful view of Winterthur from inside.
