Film Festival

The low-budget film festival shows films with a lot of heart and soul: productions, which came about with few resources but all the more creativity.

What started from scratch a few years ago in a bicycle workshop is today a popular film festival, without which the cultural agenda of Winterthur can no longer be imagined. In the inspiring environment of the Kulturzentrum Gaswerk (Gaswerk Cultural Centre) newcomers, film students and professional film-makers present their work. The scope is enormous: from experimental film, through animation and documentary to feature film and music clip almost everything can be seen at the Lichtspieltage.
