Kyburgiade

Probably the cosiest classical open-air concert in Switzerland takes place every August in the castle courtyard of the Kyburg. The medieval walls grant the chamber music festival its unrivalled ambiance.

Since 1992 the Kyburgiade has been a regular among the summer of cultural events in Winterthur. With its superior, thematically arranged chamber music concerts the Kyburgiade has established itself as an international top class music festival. The concert programmes are characterised by their wide variety, starting with medieval music, the baroque, classical and romantic music, through crossover projects to jazz.
