Open Doors

Become acquainted with the creative world of Winterthur artists! During the Open Doors event more than 50 Winterthur artists open their studios doors to the public.

The Open Doors artist studio event provides both emerging and established artists the opportunity to open their studio doors and show their artwork and their work methods. It also gives the art-loving public an opportunity to enjoy art at its origin and to start a dialogue with artists that may lead to the start of an art collection. Open Doors concludes on Sunday with a musical finale in the ESSE Musicbar. 

To assist the public in their selection of artists to visit, a German language catalogue MAP Magazine, profiling most of the participating artists. The catalogue MAP Magazine has in depth information about each artist as well as articles about relevant art issues in Winterthur. It is available at the office of Winterthur Tourismus, located in the main railway station Winterthur, from July on.
