Christmas Market

Every year delightful aromas of cinnamon and mulled wine wrap Winterthur in the spirit of Christmas: they come from the Christmas market in the centre of the Old Town, where 100 wooden chalets try to outshine each other.

Festively decorated and cosy wooden chalets are set up on the Winterthur Neumarkt. Friendly vendors offer everything, which gives pleasure during the Christmas period: from candles through organic jam and gingerbread to jewellery and textiles. You certainly won't get cold: at one of the mulled wine or catering chalets you can warm up in order to continue your Christmas shopping stroll feeling invigorated.
